We’re all Irish on St. Patrick’s Day, right? And with Irish immigrants settling into Mercer County back in the 1800’s, the area became steeping in history worthy of celebrating. In fact, there are 10 Irish-American organizations in Mercer County that come together on St. Patrick’s Day to celebrate their shared heritage. So join along with the fun (even if you’re not Irish) because there’s lots o’ events that will be happening.

Hamilton St. Patrick’s Day Parade

When: Saturday, March 14th at 1pm

Starting at the Nottingham Fire House located at 200 Mercer Street. The perfect event for kids, dogs, friends and family. Come and see why everyone floods to H town to kick off their celebration. Note: Pre-parade kickoff happening at Killarney’s in Hamilton! Come for bag pipes, tricky tray and more Irish fun.

St. Patrick’s Day Celebration at Terhune Orchards


330 Cold Soil Road, Princeton, NJ 08540

When: Sunday, March 15th, 12pm - 5pm

Just a wee bit of a musical celebration with Irish classics performed by local musicians. Raise a toast to the imminent arrival of spring, and stop by the farm storm for some homemade Irish soda bread. Free to attend, and families are welcome!
