Chapin School

The Chapin School is a coeducational day school for students pre-kindergarten through eighth grade. The school was founded in 1931 by Frances Jordan Chapin. After her passing in 1951, the school moved temporarily to Mercer Street and then in 1958 was moved to the present location in Lawrence Township. Chapin believes in small class sizes that promote active learning and critical thinking. Chapin's five virtues are Respect, Responsibility, Honesty, Kindness and Perseverance.
