Annual Princeton-Mercer Region Events
Patriots' Week, December 26th- 31st, features more than 30 activities for adults and children, including historic site tours, lectures and the always-popular re-enactments of the Battles of Trenton. This festival runs annually during the week between Christmas and New Year's Day. Events include:

This is an annual town wide celebration of Albert Einstein and the Princeton community. Residents, merchants and students take part in zany rituals, merchant special offers and other cultural activities.
The countdown is on for Communiversity, an annual event hailed by TimeOff as "a festive, sparkling, spirited town-gown street fair brimming over with vitality, energy, and talent!" Save the date for April 30th, 2017! Come in rain or shine in Downtown Princeton from 1:00 p.m.- 6:00 p.m.
The 2017 (Date TBD) JazzFeast is an open air jazz festival that swings with the joy of great music and food! Located right in the heart of downtown Princeton at Palmer Square, Jazzfeast goes on rain or shine. A fabulous assortment of food and beverages from great area restaurants will be available for purchase, along with a great selection of jazz CDs. Best of all--the music is free!
The Princeton Festival is an innovative summer festival for the performing arts, presenting inventive, fully-staged productions of opera and musical theater and vibrant performances of chamber music, jazz, dance, and a variety of other musical events at venues conveniently located in and around Princeton, New Jersey. For families and young audiences we showcase the talents of the nation's most gifted youngsters in The Festival's piano and violin competitions for young musicians. Participants in our unique choral workshop event enjoy a hands-on, intensive musical experience culminating in the public performance of important choral works. Other offerings include recitals and master classes. Library lecture series and pre-theater enrichment programs foster a deeper appreciation and understanding of the season's productions, while furthering The Festival's commitment to audience development and outreach. Crisp outdoor weather and warm creative interiors will again beckon art lovers to Trenton November 2017, followed by a reception at Artworks. Artists and arts collectives will show their work and meet attendees from a variety of studio and pop-up spaces, with businesses and non-profits also showcasing the creative energy that is reanimating Trenton and making it one of New Jersey’s most dynamic destinations. Throughout the afternoon there will be guided walking, bicycle and trolley tours which will start at Artworks and take visitors to the city’s newest murals, art spaces and artist studios. New spaces being included for the first time include those of the Trenton Community A-Team and Trenton Coffee House and Roaster.“The secret is out about Trenton the cool, funky art town, but the city can still be difficult to navigate, and locating where the creative action is can be daunting,” said Artworks Executive Director and Art All Day founder Lauren Otis. “Art All Day opens up all these art and cultural gems on one day and gives you a map to find them,” Mr. Otis said.
