The annual Music Fest is an open air music festival that swings with the joy of great music and food! Located right in the heart of downtown Princeton at Palmer Square in September, Music Fest goes on in rain or shine. The 16th season of The Princeton Festival is an innovative 3 week summer festival for the performing arts, presenting inventive productions of opera and musical theater and vibrant performances of chamber music, Latin music and dance, Baroque music, and a variety of other musical events at eight different Mercer County venues.
For families and young audiences, the festival showcases the talents of the area's most gifted young pianists in The Festival's piano competition for musicians ages 6-24. Other offerings include a library lecture series and pre-opera and pre-musical enrichment programs designed to offer a deeper appreciation and understanding of the season's productions.
Performances run in repertory throughout the month of June and are affordably priced. As the only summer festival in New Jersey to offer such a wide range of productions in the performing arts, The Princeton Festival strengthens the cultural life of communities and brings artistic expression of the highest quality to audiences.

Crisp outdoor weather and warm creative interiors will again beckon art lovers to Trenton, followed by a reception at Artworks. Artists and arts collectives will show their work and meet attendees from a variety of studio and pop-up spaces, with businesses and non-profits also showcasing the creative energy that is reanimating Trenton and making it one of New Jersey’s most dynamic destinations. Throughout the afternoon there will be guided walking, bicycle and trolley tours which will start at Artworks and take visitors to the city’s newest murals, art spaces and artist studios. New spaces being included for the first time include those of the Trenton Community A-Team and Trenton Coffee House and Roaster.“The secret is out about Trenton the cool, funky art town, but the city can still be difficult to navigate, and locating where the creative action is can be daunting,” said Artworks Executive Director and Art All Day founder Lauren Otis. “Art All Day opens up all these art and cultural gems on one day and gives you a map to find them,” Mr. Otis said.

Patriots' Week, features more than 30 activities for adults and children, including historic site tours, lectures and the always-popular re-enactments of the Battles of Trenton. Princeton Pi Day & Einstein's Birthday Party is an annual town wide celebration of Albert Einstein and the Princeton community during mid March.
