  • The Princeton Festival is New Jersey’s premier performing arts festival, offering more than 8 different types of performances with professional artists of national renown and 15 free lectures and special events. Our 14th season will take place from June 9 - July 1, 2018 and will be anchored by our productions of A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum and Puccini’s opera Madama Butterfly, featuring artists who have sung at major American and international opera houses, including The Metropolitan Opera. In the true spirit of a festival, our other offerings encompass a broad range of genres -- the Peter and Will Anderson Quintet (jazz), Concordia Chamber Players, Baroque choral and instrumental concerts, a piano competition, plus free lectures, previews, panels, and workshops. There's something for everyone at The Princeton Festival! Performances are held in venues throughout the Princeton area, including McCarter Theatre, Princeton University's Matthews Acting Studio, the Princeton Theological Seminary's Miller Chapel, the Princeton Abbey, and The Lawrenceville School's Clark Music Center. Tickets for all Princeton Festival performances may be purchased through the McCarter Theatre's Ticket Office ( http://mccarter.org/princetonfestival)
