  • The non-profit Friends of Washington Crossing Park (PA) supports and promotes the 500-acre Washington Crossing Historic Park as a nationally significant historic site and modern-day recreation area. The park includes the colonial village of Taylorsville, the bucolic Thompson-Neely House & Farmstead, the 125-foot-tall Bowman’s Hill Tower, a modern visitor’s center and numerous venues for outdoor recreation. The Friends offer a variety of interpretive tours, educational programs and special events throughout the year, including the annual reenactment of George Washington’s Delaware River, Washington’s birthday celebration, spring sheep shearing, Memorial Day and Independence Day commemorations, market days, lectures, concerts, historic encampments, fundraisers and more. The park has a number of indoor and outdoor venues that can be rented for gatherings of all types and sizes, including parties, company picnics, family reunions, weddings and other special events. The park also has state-of-the-art facilities for hosting corporate events or training seminars.
