  • The Johnson Education Center at D&R Greenway Land Trust may be rented for meetings, set in the lovely preserved sixty acres of Greenway Meadows Park off Rosedale Road.   Contact Director of Operations, Laurie Emde, X 123.   The Land Trust preserves and provides stewardship for natural lands, focusing on but not limited to farmland, and open space in NJ.  It has taken us 22 years to preserve 22 miles in this highly populated state.  Trails are maintained for public access.  Consecutive art exhibitions and related science and art programs focus attention on the marriage of art, science and preservation.  The purpose of all events at The Johnson Education Center, our home, is to increase awareness of and commitment to preservation in our beleaguered state.  New Scott & Hella McVay Poetry Trail offers meandering visit among 48 poems on preserved Greenway Meadows.  Linda Mead, D&R Greenway President & CEO has led this dynamic organization since 1997.  She is nationally renowned for creating vital partnerships and orchestrating complex land transactions.  New Native Plant Nursery gathers seeds, then grows, plants and sells regional species for preserved lands and home gardens, holding Native Plant Sales twice each year.  Volunteers welcome for Willing Hands (events and mailings) and Stewardship.
