  • You’ve heard about Rosie the Riveter, but what about Rosie the Engineer? During WWII, the Radio Corporation of America established a program called the RCA Cadettes to train female engineers. With guidance from engineer Lillian Moller Gilbreth and Purdue University, RCA developed a program to teach radio engineering and electronics to women across the country. Join the Sarnoff curator to learn about the history of this program, and to learn more about the lives of these trailblazing women.
