  • Princeton Pro Musica opens its season with Haydn’s “Lord Nelson Mass” or “Missa in Angustiis.” Director Ryan Brandau has chosen to use the original orchestration of strings, timpani, and trumpets to enhance the fiery baroque intensity of the opening movement. Violinist Johanna Novom will perform Arvo Part’s “Fratres,” and the vocal quartet Polydora Ensemble will sing the solos in the Haydn and also will perform two of Brahms’ late quartets. The concert begins at 4 p.m., and ticketholders are welcome at a pre-concert lecture at 3 p.m.
