With her natural energy, infectious personality and talent to spare, 26-year-old saxophone wonder Jess Gillam was the first saxophonist to reach the finals of BBC Young Musician and the youngest-ever soloist to perform at the Last Night of the Proms. She was also the first solo saxophonist to appear on PUC's season when she made her jaw-dropping debut on the Performances Up Close series in 2022.
