Princeton Transportation
The Princeton region - including parts of Mercer County, southern Somerset County, western Middlesex and western Monmouth County - is an idyllic region filled with abundant amenities, including world-class hotels and conference centers, museums, historic sites, music festivals and first-rate sports arenas and is located almost equidistant of two major metropolitan areas - New York and Philadelphia.
The Princeton area is easily accessibly by car, train, bus or airplane. In this section you can find information about the abundance of ways to get to Princeton!
Also note: Quaker Road will be closed beginning August 20, 2012 for up to a 6-month period. The work will involve the closure of Quaker Road between Province Line Road and Mercer Road. There will be no through traffic on Quaker Road, as the bridge will be out. Local Access only available from Princeton Pike to the Friends School, Updike Farmstead (Historical Society of Princeton), and the private residences just north of the bridge. Signs will detour travelers to appropriate routes.
