Discovery Walks on the Farm Trail

Educational programs offered at Terhune Orchards give children of all ages the opportunity to experience life on a farm - up close and personal - lead by our knowledgeable Guides.  In July and August, enjoy our Summer Discovery Walks along the Terhune Orchards Farm Trail. The program investigates nature, discusses the compatibility between wildlife habitats and agriculture and recycling.  Children identify spittle bugs, praying mantis, and the three different ways poison ivy grows.  Visit the farm animals and enjoy a snack of cider an apples. The 1.5 hour program includes a snack and a craft activity. Pre-registration and a minimum of 10 children are required. Farm Summer Camp

Terhune Orchards welcomes children between the ages of 7 and 10 to enjoy a fun filled week of summer camp on the farm.  The two identical one-week sessions focus on how the farmer and nature work together to grow healthy crops.  During the week campers will take advantage of our beautiful surroundings, get a closer look at our resident insects, birds, wild and domestic animals, and sample crops in season.  Call early, as space is limited. The camp sessions from July 14 to 18 and July 21 to 25, Monday to Friday between 9:00 am - 3:30 pm. For additional details or questions call the Farm Store at 609-924-2310.

Toad Hall Shop & Gallery Exhibition Opening

The cutting edge metal sculpture of Robert Koch will be featured in Toad Hall Shop & Gallery’s first evening reception. In celebration, there will be selected merchandise on sale in the Gallery during the reception. Reception: Fri, July 18, 5-7pm. Meet the artist! Reception is open to the public. Exhibition: July 19 through October 12.

Courtyard Concert: The Commons
