Featuring more than 120 sculptures by artist and GFS founder Seward Johnson, The Retrospective will include work in every indoor gallery, and many new works out in the park, including the much-anticipated monumental land sculpture titled, "The Awakening,” sited in The Meadow. Joining his internationally admired large-scale works such as "Forever Marilyn" will be dozens of key works comprising the "Icons Revisited," "Beyond The Frame," and "Celebrating The Familiar" series. These notable sculptures will be joined by Mr. Johnson's lesser known but perhaps most intimate work—a collection of trays upon which he has painted landscapes and moments of great personal meaning to him. Seward Johnson: The Retrospective represents nearly 50 years of work, and is a culmination of the prodigious whimsy and humanity of this extraordinary man. D&R Greenway Land Trust, Conserve Wildlife Foundation of NJ announce "The Best of 'Species on the Edge”" in land trust’s Olivia Rainbow Gallery. Maria Grace, --departing Education and Outreach Manager, of Conserve Wildlife Foundation of NJ--, selected personal favorites from Foundation’s Endangered and Threatened Species art and essay contests back to 2008. Winning wildlife art by fifth graders from every New Jersey county is present in the Olivia Rainbow Gallery, where children’s art honors the memory of Olivia Kuenne, who loved nature and art. Available business hours of business days, through August 29. D&R Greenway is at One Preservation Place, off Rosedale Road, Princeton, NJ 08540. This is D&R Greenway’s 25th year of preserving land, now in seven New Jersey counties. [www.drgreenway.org 609-924-4646] Among the art currently gracing Olivia Rainbow Gallery walls are multiple winners from Mercer, Hunterdon, Middlesex and Somerset counties. One arresting bobcat was created by a Warren County home-schooled student, Joseph Hernandez. Maria has chosen a bobcat array to remind that this elusive wild creature can be found in healthy habitat in our state, primarily the northwest section
