JazzFeast is an open air jazz festival that swings with the joy of great music and food! Located right in the heart of downtown Princeton at Palmer Square, Jazzfeast goes on rain or shine. A fabulous assortment of food and beverages from great area restaurants will be available for purchase, along with a great selection of jazz CDs. Best of all--the music is free!
This is an annual town wide celebration of Albert Einstein and the Princeton community. Residents, merchants and students take part in zany rituals, merchant special offers and other cultural activities.
The Princeton Festival is an innovative summer festival for the performing arts, presenting inventive, fully-staged productions of opera and musical theater and vibrant performances of chamber music, jazz, dance, and a variety of other musical events at venues conveniently located in and around Princeton, New Jersey. For families and young audiences we showcase the talents of the nation's most gifted youngsters in The Festival's piano and violin competitions for young musicians. Participants in our unique choral workshop event enjoy a hands-on, intensive musical experience culminating in the public performance of important choral works. Other offerings include recitals and master classes. Library lecture series and pre-theater enrichment programs foster a deeper appreciation and understanding of the season's productions, while furthering The Festival's commitment to audience development and outreach. Our productions run in repertory throughout the month of June and are affordably priced. As the only summer festival in New Jersey to offer such a wide range of productions in the performing arts, we strengthen the cultural life of our communities and bring artistic expression of the highest quality to our audiences.
